Forbidden Planet Home Shopping, also known as Sci-fi Warehouse is the UK's largest Sci-fi, popular culture and entertainment mail order company selling books, videos, action figures, games and collectable merchandise.
Products are sold from a 132 page full colour A4 catalogue, via their website at www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk, off the page advertisements and its own Forbidden Planet retail outlets and associated stores. Products from TV and film series are featured including Little Apple Dolls, Nightmare before Christmas, Star Trek, Star Wars, Charmed, Smallville, Dr Who, the Simpsons, Buffy and Angel.
The database is kept up to date as it is mailed by the owner regularly.
Customers are 60% male, 40% female aged 18-40. High credit card usage and 70% of customers order via the internet. Average order value is £30.00.
